MY TAKE

I’m telling you, commercials and television soundtracks are doing a lot for me and for musicians today. I am constantly discovering not only new songs, but new artists. Many of the artists, like the one featured in this post today, are straight out of the world of MySpace musicians and are on the brink of bright futures and potential.

I mean, come on! Right now it’s 10:57pm and they’re playing a Michael Franti song at the end of the Brothers & Sisters episode. I’ve written down four new songs just from watching an hour and a half of television, and Michael Franti was the only artist I recognized! How awesome a jackpot is that?!
