SONG OF THE DAY
“Angelo’s” by Dick Siegel (Snap!, 1969). Written by Dick Siegel.
WHY TODAY?
Because it’s a Sunday song and I’m a Detroiter! Anyone who’s anyone from Detroit knows this song because it is used as the theme to the local classic rock station’s Sunday morning program, which is just about the best program out there. It’s a nice-and-easy classic rock show, just the kind of thing you want to listen to while reading the Sunday New York Times, or eating a big Sunday breakfast, or driving around through Sunday traffic. It’s got Neil Young, America, some quieter Zeppelin, and, you know, the like. Nothing too loud and rocking, but everything classic and well-loved. Check it out!

VIDEO OF THE DAY
Here’s a very..umm…a fan video with the studio audio. I preferred this audio to the live stuff, but the video is something that—-though I was making these types of videos a decade ago—-I would never have posted on youtube. Well they look like they’re having fun, and put a lot of hard work into it, so good for them, I would never have the guts to show anyone that. Maybe I should….roll the tape!:
