“A Train Robbery” is track 9 on The Levon Helm Band’s critically acclaimed 2007 album, Dirt Farmer. The album was Helm’s first studio album since 1982. The album contains covers of songs by Steve Earle and J. B. Lenoir, and features his daughter Amy, as well as ex-Bob Dylan sideman Larry Campbell. It won the Grammy Award for Best Traditional Folk Album in February 2008. The track was written by Paul Kennerley.
