– A country blues pianist, guitarist, and singer, Little Miss Higgins (known to perform with her partner in music, Foy Taylor) was born in Alberta, Canada, and raised in Independence, KS.
– Her debut album, Cobbler Shop Sessions, was nominated for a Western Canadian Music Award in 2006, and that year she also won an IMA Vox Populi Award for the song “Ferry Boat Blues.”
– Her follow-up, the Tim Williams-produced Junction City, was released in 2007.
